IJW Whiskey Company, LLC (IJW) is a dynamic, fully integrated whiskey company. Founded in 2017, we’ve compiled the largest independent library of aged Kentucky bourbon and rye and established a global presence including offices in Beverly Hills, Louisville and Tokyo, Japan, a 100-acre campus in Danville and a bottling facility in Harrodsburg. In 2023, we will break ground on two distilleries, one in Kentucky and one in Japan.

The Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor will manage all incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory of all dry goods and finished goods, as well as the equipment used to move and store goods. Includes supervising, training, hiring, disciplining and scheduling staff.
This role is currently located in Harrodsburg KY and will move to Shelbyville KY in Q1 of 2025.
Duties/Responsibilities:
General:
- Provide leadership through personal example in a manner consistent with the culture of the company.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, production, budgetary, and compliance standards.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators.
- Conduct incident root-cause investigations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures, corrective actions, and operational improvements. Ensure adherence to the same.
- Coordinate with maintenance department to ensure equipment is in working order.
- Ensure all areas of responsibilities are kept clean and organized.
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new staff members.
- Train, develop, and encourage direct reports.
- Issue rewards and disciplinary actions in a fair, firm, and consistent manner.
Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control
- Ship, receive, and maintain correct inventory of barrels, finished goods, and materials.
- Communicate the production and shipping schedule to the team.
- Develop, communicate, and implement Plan of the Day (POD).
- Maintain a well-organized and clean work environment.
- Make daily entries into system of record for all inventory shipments, receipts, and changes, in accordance with TTB standards.
- Retain all records in accordance with KWB standards.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, client relations and production departments to schedule receipts & shipments, provide accurate inventory reports, supply materials for bottling, properly store materials and goods.
- Conduct inventory counts and audits. Reconcile discrepancies.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related field preferred.
- Three years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods standing.
- Lifting or moving up 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities, climb stairs, and work at heights. Must be able to work in areas that are not climate controlled.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
