Job Description
As the Warehouse Manager you will:
- Support the Operations Manager with various functions in operations to meet company standards.
- Support in determining inventory handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; support to develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Provide and maintain equipment in good and safe working conditions to provide team members a safe working environment.
- Manage safety/OSHA/PPE compliance.
- Support in identifying talent needs and provide continuous training opportunities.
- Lead by example by adhering to company policies and procedures
- Support in identifying process improvement opportunities and engage in solution driven strategies.
- Manage and maintain inventory and supplies within budget.
- Report and write up any W/C Incidents
- Manage property damage, reporting, and follow up
- Manage Excellence/Crewing Model reporting.
- Manage the CapEx house from sew and maintenance shop for report card tracking.
- Manage all aspects of building maintenance and showrooms
- Manage after hours answering service and follow up with calls/messages.
- Manage building access, key cards, etc.
- Manage company cellphones for Warehouse Ops team members.
- Provide and maintain equipment in good and safe working conditions to provide team members a safe working environment.
- Ensure Team Members take their rest and meal periods on time
- Hold Team Members responsible, coach, or write-up any policy violations or behavior concerns
- Ensure all Team Members timecards are accurate and not missing any punches
In order to be successful you must possess:
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree highly preferred
- At least 5 years of related supervisory experience required in a related industry
- Proven management experience in operations or a similar relevant role
- High degree of computer literacy, specifically regarding Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
- Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Ability to work at an above average pace and multitask
- Ability to foster relationships with employees and develop trust-building strategies
- Demonstrate strong and effective management and leadership skills
- Able to problem-solve and provide effect resolution in a timely manner
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism
- Ability to coordinate field activities daily, short term, and long-term production objective
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) skills to communicate with clients and team members
