Job Description
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana or Pasadena, Texas
- Working schedule: This is a full-time position requiring approximately, 40 hours per week. Your regular weekly schedule will be Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
- Availability for trips to Texas and Indiana
- Management of two warehouse operations;
- Create and improve operational procedures;
- Ensure warehouse team comply to all procedures: unload (trucks, containers, pallets, boxes, etc), receiving, putaway, control of physical inventory, cycle count, picking, repacking, palletize, wrap and band products for outbound shipment, paper work handling, loading, ERP / WMS inputs, system databases maintenance and other logistics tasks;
- Support Quality department on parts quality inspection process when necessary;
- Preparation and monitoring of daily and monthly KPIs of the operations;
- Application and process improvement for safety, layout improvement, 5S, productivity increase, service level improvement, etc;]
- Identify and reports slow-moving products, storage discrepancies, risk of operation and inefficiencies;
- Execution of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) / customs paperwork;
- Ensure that process, organize and file documents and forms related to the warehouse operation;
- Manage contractors, service providers and suppliers related to the warehouse operation;
- Manage warehouse supplies (request, inventory, control);
- Warehouse capacity management;
- Issue reports according to the logistics services provided to customers;
- Team management of warehouse employees;
- Execution of required communications with customers, suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, internal departments or documents sending / receiving for warehousing subjects.
- Solid experience in warehousing operations;
- Desirable prior experience: job leadership;
- Hands on for both back office activities and warehouse execution;
- Bachelor degree;
- Microsoft Office Advanced;
- Background Check.
