Keen Transport, part of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Group, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our High & Heavy Logistics Services team at our first Distribution and Container Processing Center (DCPC) opening in South Houston, TX opening soon! This facility is poised to become a hub for efficient parts warehousing, parts distribution, and container processing services, catering to multiple OEM customers.

Job Description:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a direct report to the Facility Manager of DCPC, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in overseeing warehousing operations in our newly built Distribution and Container Processing Center (DCPC) located in Houston, TX.
You will ensure the smooth warehouse operations and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence. Your exceptional leadership skills and keen attention to detail will be instrumental in managing a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Lead and inspire your team, driving a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork that delivers workforce performance.
- Oversee day-to-day warehousing operations of the DCPC focused on parts warehousing, parts distribution, and support of onsite container processing services.
- Implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize quality control, productivity, minimize downtime.
- Partner with the Facility Manager to develop and execute plans focused on growth, process optimization, and cost reduction, ensuring the facility's long-term success.
- Maintain strong understanding of customer requirements ensuring exceptional service delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 3 Years warehousing supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
- Familiarity with using warehouse management systems and related software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management preferred but not required).
- Experience with Lean Management tools and principles

- Knowledge of operate light and heavy forklifts.
- Knowledge using cranes to load and unload machines.
- Experience with proper chaining and securement techniques to assure safe transit of cargo.
