The Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing and engaging employees and Warehouse Supervisors in CJ Logistics', Logistics Center to achieve productivity goals. The Warehouse Manager will manage Warehouse Supervisors and will spend most of the time coaching and leading the operations team to efficiently and safely achieve production and quality goals. The role will collaborate with various CJ Logistics teams on implementing initiatives and coordinating resources to implement solutions and training.

Manage Workforce Warehouse Supervisors
- Train warehouse supervisors and hold them accountable for performance
- Ensure team leaders are observing, training, and coaching operations employees to drive performance
- Conduct daily team meetings
- Monitor operations on the floor and create a strong presence in the logistics center
- Provide consistent messaging and communications
- Connect employees to CJ Logistics and the Customer business objectives
Deliver Exceptional Performance (including Safety, Quality, Productivity & Customer Requirements)
- Implement and manage action plans to drive positive results
- Manage staffing plans
- Review employee & shift performance with warehouse supervisor
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives and continuous-improvement activity
- Support team leader efforts to improve operational performance
Oversee the Workplace Environment
- Ensure the building is clean and safe
- Address and manage product cases and damage response
- Troubleshoot problems and remove obstacles so that warehouse supervisors can properly manage their shifts
- Ensure systems are set up appropriately and enforce process compliance
- Manage the environment to ensure throughput and system efficiency

Job Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of experience supervising employees and managing leaders
- Skills in leadership, organization, communication and cross functional teamwork
- Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
- Emphasis on safety is extremely important
Preferred
- Familiarity with MHE
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or Red Prairie WMS is a plus
- Ability shift priorities easily, and multi-task in a highly transactional environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to engage with the workforce and leadership teams and create a positive environment and culture
