The Warehouse Manager oversees the warehouse's day-to-day operations, focusing on shipping, receiving, and inventory control. They maintain optimal inventory management by implementing and refining best practices. This includes introducing a barcoding system for precise inventory tracking and parts kitting to optimize manufacturing assembly processes. Moreover, they develop strategies for material optimization to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency. Smart warehouse layouts are meticulously designed to enhance space utilization and streamline material flow, ensuring operational efficiency. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager supports manufacturing assembly and provides aftermarket part support, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory movement.
· Train, develop, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to established procedures.
· Develop and implement well-defined and repeatable processes to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are adequate to meet operational needs.
· Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss, damage, and discrepancies.
· Oversee the execution of safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, production and aftermarket sales to coordinate inventory movement and ensure timely order fulfillment.
· Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize productivity and efficiency.
· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among warehouse staff.

Education & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for basic documentation and reporting tasks.
· Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
· Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
· Commitment to upholding high standards of excellence and integrity in all aspects of warehouse operations.
Experience with ERP systems inventory management preferably with Epicor, for effective management of materials components and kitting.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Work Environment:
Will work both inside and outside. Summer temps may exceed 100 degrees. Minimum PPE requirements: steel/composite toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat. Will have exposure to all aspects of the manufacturing process including assembly, painting and welding. Employee may need to work extended hours based on the needs of the business.
