The Warehouse Night Floor Lead Associate is primarily responsible for assisting the manager with training of new hires, bulk order pulls, influencing, and motivating peers, and other basic warehouse functions as assigned. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday 5:30 pm to completion or as business needs dictate. This is a labor-intensive role where team members will be responsible for moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift both manually and with equipment.
- Essential Job Functions:
- Train new employees on proper picking/palletizing techniques for bulk orders
- Pick nightly bulk orders
- Verifies all applicable bulk orders for accuracy
- Collects all inspection reports weekly and reports exceptions to management
- Inspects all equipment used nightly to ensure proper hookup and debris removal
- Maintains both large cardboard compactors/making bales
- Trains new employees on baler operation
- Maintains RSC circulation to modules as needed
- Ensures pallet processing
- Ensure that proper housekeeping is used throughout warehouse when picking orders
- Loads bale trailer
- Loads branch pallet orders
- Trains jackpot operators
- Backup truck jockey
- Assist as needed with picking/quality control
- Liaison between employee and managers
- Influence and motivate peers to achieve goals
- Assist manager with directing workflow
- Assist manager with monitoring employee(s) productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency
- Responsible for meeting productivity goals for the position
- Be proficient in all work areas for the shift
- Utilize warehouse management system to locate product in the warehouse while ensuring inventory accuracy and control
- Safely operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move product
- Ensure a safe work environment

- High School degree or equivalent
- Warehouse experience
- Basic math skills are required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers and pallet jacks
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Computer Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Warehouse management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. REPEATEDLY
- Must be able to work assigned hours, Monday - Friday
- Must be available to meet scheduling requirements which may include additional hours/days without advance notice
- Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking
