Job Title:Warehouse Team Lead
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager- oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of tires or related products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensures workplace health and all safety requirements (PTC, OSHA, and NCDOL) are met and takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
2. Work closely with all members of management to promote our goals and objectives.
3. In charge of quarterly inventories from start to finish. Plans organization, count teams, count areas and researches all variance reports.
4. Communicates with location manager with stock levels, market trends, slow and obsolete inventory. Advises manager of overstocks and missed sales.
5. Markets (Hot Sheets) monthly to the sales personnel for slow, discontinued and obsolete inventory.
6. Liaison between the sales personnel and management for ordering special order tires as needed.
7. Control of used tires log books and tagging procedures.
8. Adjustments and Warranties: Handle all warranties for all new tire and retread products. Maintain accurate files for warranty for each brand. Write up tires and mark with claim numbers. Follow up with each claim to confirm that the credit has been passed back to the location and received. (No more than 30 days out)
9. Check accuracy of all transfers and invoices before shipping.
10. All products must be on a computer generated work order before leaving the warehouse. (No hand written work orders are to be used in this process)
11. Organization of warehouse to be used to the maximums.
12. Overseeing the planned maintenance of equipment that is related to warehouse and transportation of our products. (Delivery truck, trailers and forklifts)
13. Any person driving a forklift must be certified as such.
14. Manage daily outbound deliveries of scheduled and non scheduled shipments.
15. Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness in all areas.
16. Briefing management on any issues for that day.
17. Training of staff that directly relates to the warehouse department.
18. Daily input of retread work orders, transfers and received products.
19. Responding to and dealing with personnel, management or customer communication by email, fax and telephone.
20. Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions on a daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Experience: 1-2 years experience in a related industry is preferred. High school diploma is required, some college preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Must be able to utilize and show proficiency in the use of various Forklifts. Must be certified or re- certified within 60 days of employment. Ability to read and understand work/warehouse processes and procedures.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates effective organizational, reasoning of problem solving abilities and time management skills. Possess evidence of the ability to effectively communicate both orally and written with store personnel, administrative office personnel, and customers. Must be able to handle continuous stressful situations in an effective manner.
General Statement: Responsible for continuous physical effort, including bending, walking, manipulation of and heavy lifting of tires and equipment. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
