Warehouse Inventory Clerk

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Auditor for a large, well-known client in Richardson, TX. As a Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Auditor for SURESTAFF, This Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Auditor position's focus is inventory cycle counting and tracking and monitor inventory within the facility. This position requires a strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring, and coordination to confirm inventory and investigate count discrepancies. In this role, you will review, and count merchandise received daily in the warehouse and manually count all products within the warehouse. This person may also assist with shipping, receiving and production duties as directed by the supervisor. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Available shifts include Monday -Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm.Responsibilities of the Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Auditor:

• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Document counts of all inventory received in the warehouse
• Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
• Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
• Research inventory discrepancies
• Work with Warehouse Manager to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
• Provide directions to warehouse team to ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and the inventory is checked in properly.
• Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
• Ensure orders are received/shipped accurately and timely using hand-held scanner and computer equipment.
• Identify issues with inventory including damaged products, shortages, or misclassified items.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.

Work Environment/Physical Demands of Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Auditor:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and some climbing all day. Driving a forklift may be required.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Required Qualifications of Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Auditor:

• 3+ years recent previous warehouse experience in Inventory/Audit
• Previous cycle count experience highly preferred
• Minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment
• Must pass Forklift Certification
• Basic math skills
• Reliable transportation to work
• Good attendance and punctuality
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Prior experience with warehouse equipment such as RF Scanner, Pallet Jack, Forklift, and Cherry Picker.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
