- Maintain accurate inventory record for incoming and outgoing shipments, including product descriptions, quantities, and storage locations.
- Regularly update inventory databases, spreadsheets, and software systems to reflect current stock levels and locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel, logistics coordinators, and shipping/ receiving teams to ensure seamless inventory management processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and generated reports to identify discrepancies, shortages, or overages, and take necessary corrective actions.
- Conduct routine physical counts of inventory items to verify accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely receipt of processing of incoming goods.
- Assist in planning and executing inventory audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Prepare and generate shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations for international shipments.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth operations, from procurement and production to distribution and customer service.
- Utilize inventory management software and tool to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and improve overall inventory efficiency.
