Location: 15217 Grand River Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76155
The Warehouse Team Member performs a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking, and filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping product and/or building pallets. Warehouse Team Members are active throughout their day working independently in a warehouse environment using powered material handling equipment. This person may also be responsible for operating and maintaining warehouse equipment, keeping records of inventory and stock, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Signs for factory deliveries of company products.
- Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse.
- Takes inventory of all supplies, and reorders materials as necessary.
- Inspects all goods being shipped and received, reporting any defective or damaged items.
- Responsible for following company safety rules as well as maintaining job site safety.
- Work independently to compile and ship orders.
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jack/forklift)
- Accurately receive inbound products and replenish inventory as needed.
- Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment; clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area.
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies
- Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements (include, but not limited to):
- Technical skills and knowledge (example: Microsoft Office)
- Must be age 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
- Excellent written and verbal communication is required.
- Must be able to carry out both written and oral instructions.
- Required to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures on forklift to ensure proper techniques, such as lifting are performed in the manner which is described.
- MUST be a team player and have a good attendance record.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic required.
Physical Job Demands:
- Workday is a standard 8 hours and is spent in a warehouse setting.
- The position involves a moderate amount of physical activity and periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs., stoop, squat, sit, etc.
- Temperatures in the warehouse are variable with dramatic increases or decreases in response to the seasons.
