The Inventory Control Specialist is a key member of the logistics and supply chain team, responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient control of inventory levels. This role involves overseeing inventory transactions, implementing control measures to optimize stock levels and ensure the seamless flow of products within the organization.

Inventory Monitoring and Analysis:
- Regularly monitor inventory levels and stock movements.
- Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Inventory Control Procedures:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize errors and improve accuracy.
- Establish and enforce best practices for receiving, moving, storing, and issuing inventory.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory control.
- Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Cycle Counts and Audits:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify physical inventory against recorded levels.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for inventory optimization.
- Utilize inventory management software (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality control measures within the inventory management process.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Engage with all employees in a positive and respectful manner.
- Consistent attendance and adherence to shift requirements.
- Work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
