Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am, Mon-Fri (will train for 1-2 weeks on 1st shift)
Pay: $13.00-$14:00 + Benefits after 90 days (shift differential for 2nd Shift)
ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, has a full-time opportunity for a Cycle Counter in our Inventory Control department. This position is responsible for cycle counting inventory and performing a variety of assignments and tasks to support ExpressPoint and our customer's inventory in an ISO 9001 warehouse environment. Previous inventory experience is a preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with previous warehouse experience and good attendance. This position requires strong computer skills.The ideal candidate is comfortable using web-based warehouse management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all ExpressPoint and Customer Inventory cycle counting.
- Performs daily cycle counts of inventory and count data entry to a high accuracy level
- Responsible for processing and tracking all non-conforming product per ISO processes.
- Processes all teardown and build-ups per ISO process.
- As directed, resolves inventory problems or issues in a timely manor.
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 2+ years related inventory experience
- Previous cycle count experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Forklift and pallet jack certification
- Accurate data entry and good organization skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- High school level math, reading and writing skills
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Intermediate (Microsoft Word and Excel) and office machines such as fax machines, phones and copiers
- Must to be flexible, adaptable and to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
