The Warehouse Coordinator is critical in overseeing and managing the company’s physical inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control and product placement, maximizing inventory, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating closely with various teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained and correct. You also will ensure that inventory records are up-to-date and that employees follow all safety guidelines and procedures throughout the warehouse. In addition, you will serve as a liaison between our internal departments, customers, and vendors. You will be the primary point of contact for customer service calls. This includes giving our customers additional support after their purchase, whether it's repair, returns, or any other support they seek.
Operations Coordinator Duties:
- Coordinate and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Direct customers to the appropriate department - sales, engineering, or operations
- Ensure each client is given the necessary services and follow up to fill ongoing service needs
- Forward customer feedback to appropriate departments
- Create and maintain a database of clients and client needs.
- Maintain good relationships with service providers and clients to keep customer base
- Answer service phone calls and respond to email inquiries
Operations Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- : Maintain accuracy of inventory levels within Shopify, coordinating with the shipping and receiving department regarding inbound and outbound stock.
- : Oversee the quality of received goods and identify any discrepancies regarding warehouse inventory quantities and conditions.
- : Organize and optimize warehouse space for efficient product utilization and implement best practices to maximize productivity.
- : Ensure that the internally refurbished products are accurately entered into Shopify and physically boxed up ready to be put away into the warehouse from start to finish.
- : Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory to ensure product accuracy while reconciling both physical and system discrepancies.
Education and Competencies
- 1-3 years of industry experience or related customer service experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High-quality organizational skills
- The ability to work well under deadlines and to multi-task
- Familiarity with any type of industrial automation equipment is preferred
- Familiarity with Shopify, Hubspot, remote support, inventory management, and standard office productivity software preferred
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean management principles is a plus

Work environment: Warehouse setting, controlled temperatures
Physical demands: Prolonged periods of standing and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
