Form of workKORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Assistant (Day Shift - Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm).
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain Warehouse cleanliness, ensuring facility is audit safety ready at all times, including, but not limited to sweeping, breaking down boxes, disposal of debris, emptying of trash receptacles.
* Safely organizing and stacking of pallets, drums, totes and other warehouse items.
* At direction of EHS and Warehouse Supervisor and Manager, participate in safety walkthroughs and follow-ups, ensure wash stations are tested on scheduled bases; report any functional issues.
* Assist Facility Manager with building and vehicle maintenance tasks.
* Delivery of packages to internal staff.
* Assist with office moves, as requested.
* Put-away of all inventory to their proper warehouse locations daily.
* Cycle counting according to company standards in terms of frequency and quantity.
* Learn, ask questions, and execute in the resolution of inventory discrepancies, investigate & correct deviations.
* Store quarantine, returns and waste management areas and work towards resolving outstanding issues.
* Report warehouse facility safety issues and the organization of material issues immediately.
* Operates heavy equipment (forklift; reach and sit down, pumps, hoses, valves, scales, etc.) safely.
QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Problem-solving skills are a requirement
* Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task and prioritize
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with cross functional team members
* The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, be proactive and resourceful
