Demolition Laborer

Role Description

As a laborer, you are the support staff for our operators and foreman. You will take up various supporting tasks at job sites and the shop. You will typically assist in site cleanup, moving cores, and handling and transporting materials.

Duties

- Perform demolition work on various construction sites

-Safely operate power tools and equipment to dismantle structures

- Remove debris and clean up work areas after demolition

- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.

- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear

- Keep equipment clean and in good working order. Report any need for repairs to the supervisor or shop immediately.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in demolition or construction preferred

- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment

- Work independently as well as part of a team

- Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done

- Ability to handle physical workload

- Ability to travel, work overtime and weekends

- Ability to work on construction site locations which can include extreme weather conditions, physical hazards, and extreme noise levels

- Possess training or certification required in certain operations or be willing to acquire training and certification (MSHA, OSHA, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
