Job Description:
About the Role:
As a Warehouse and Logistics Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to apply business and supply chain principles to support and improve site operations. The Warehouse and Logisitcs team has a wide breadth of expertise in a variety of food categories and warehouse platforms. You will work independently and as part of various teams on assigned tasks with assistance and support from the team. You can expect hands on experiences working on engaging projects to improve and standardize processes while on-site alongside experienced professionals to gain real world insight and knowledge.
Locations Include: Northern Illinois
Examples of project:
Standardizing processes across the network
Warehouse layout review and improvements
KPI data evaluation
Experience an intern will gain:

• Project leadership
• Exposure to industrial food grade warehousing practices for raw materials and finished goods
• Working with cross functional team members to understand how each role impacts movement of goods through the network
• SAP and other ERP solutions

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of progress towards a Bachelor's degree (Junior or Senior) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to develop strong relationships and influence others through partnership
• Self-directed and motivated
