We are looking for a part-time (Tues-Thurs, 24 hrs/week) Marketing Research Intern in our Orangeburg, NY, location.
Come join a Multi-generational family-owned company for an 11-week paid internship program from June 4th - August 15th, 2024.
The Marketing Intern will support the team in reaching established goals and objectives for the business. During the length of the program, an essential project will be completed. The Internship program is designed to have a direct business impact, drive bottom-line health, and support top-line growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
The intern will assist the Director of Insights in three primary areas:
- Search social media for trends/generational groups of interest for 3-4 main categories of self and family
- Create and organize an easy-to-retrieve “repository” of study documents (past and present). This reorganization will allow for easy identification and retrieval across the enterprise
- Work directly with the Director of Insights on key projects by contacting external vendors for project management (ongoing projects) and data collection/analysis
- Perform sales analysis from Nice-Pak’s point of sale/panel data database across our wipes categories, working closely with the Circana team for training on both platforms
PROJECT PRESENTATION:
- Develop and present project findings to Senior Leadership
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- Junior-year student in college student with a focus on Marketing, Market Research/Consumer Insights, Psychology, or Consumer Behavior
- Or undergrad working towards an MBA
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Proficient analytical skills
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Good Communication Skills
- Comfortable with scanning/scraping social media platforms for relevant content is a must
- Ability to participate in the full length of the program (6/4/2024 - 8/15/2024)
