Supply Chain Intern

Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and the US.
Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.
Job Summary: To help drive Ornua Foods North America’s Supply Chain Department to “best in class” by maximizing reporting and processes within our operations. Also, supporting the smooth running of the department generally.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Support the automation of crucial reports through PowerBI
· Management of CHEP pallet balances, including reporting of outbound reporting to CHEP and reconciliation of account balances
· Tracking key container and truck arrivals to maintain desired service levels
· Support the Supply Chain team on daily responsibilities where needed
Requirements:
· Strong analytical and research skills

· Work on own initiative to find data and turn it into useful information
· Customer Service mindset
· Strong MS Excel skills
· Degree of proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
