Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of delivery and execution of multiple complex projects with a large amount of independence..
- Develops and exercises project plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.
- Identify stakeholders and key organizations, building and managing relationships with each.
- Lead the identification and drive resolution of issues which impact project delivery; direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition meets business objectives.
- Work with Reporting Transformation and Technology leads to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business goals.
- Drive adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the project.
- Proactively develop and maintain materials that are conducive to initiative, project and workstream meeting agendas, encouraging collaboration, risk/issue resolution and progress towards closure.
- Lead milestone/deliverable closure activities in conjunction with Accountable Executives, Milestone Owner, workstream leads, business/tech stakeholders and Internal Audit.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Program/Project Management
- Knowledge of regulatory, management, and/or financial report production processes at a global bank is considered a strong asset for this role
- Previous work experience as a Project Manager of technology implementations within banking and regulatory environment is strongly preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of financial systems/infrastructure and data standards/concepts is strongly preferred but not required
- Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment within a heavily matrixed organization
- Prior work experience in enterprise-wide transformation/organizational change initiatives
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent analytical skills to proactively identify trends and issues, diagnose root cause, draw conclusions, and drive to resolution
- Ability to support cross-functional projects and teams with varied disciplines.
- Strong communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives
- Background in SAFe, LeSS and other scaled agile frameworks; certifications such as Scrum master, SPC, LeSS, ICAgile Coaching are preferred but not required
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other business related field of study; Master's degree preferred
