As we embark on a journey to expand our Inside Sales capabilities and build stronger lead-generating partnerships, we are seeking a transformational VP/Director of Inside Sales and Partner Management to lead this transformation!
In this role, you will join our senior leadership and spearhead the development of new capabilities within our Inside Sales department. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building and scaling successful Inside Sales teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our sales organization and drive revenue growth through innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to build and expand new capabilities in Inside Sales. This includes identifying key customer profiles, key markets, and creating a roadmap for success.
- Third-Party Relationship Management: Establish, nurture, and retain strong relationships with third-party lead generators. Act as the primary point of contact ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and mutual understanding of goals.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of Inside Sales professionals, fostering a culture of success, continuous learning, and accountability. Provide coaching and mentorship to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance existing lead management and sales processes and methodologies. Implement processes, tools, and techniques to optimize quality lead flow and the sales process, including CRM and sales automation tools.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to drive insights and decision-making. Monitor sales lead quality and sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve KPIs and revenue goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Personal Lines Service and Personal Lines Operations, across Gallagher (e.g. Small Business and Affinity), and with external carriers and vendors to align sales strategy with broader objectives.
- Technology: Identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales team. Leverage Salesforce capabilities to improve and manage the sales process.
Skills that will help you succeed:
- Proven track record in Inside Sales including previous experience in a senior management role
- Track record of building of successfully building and leading high-performing Inside Sales team
- Strong analytics and data-driven decision making
- Exception communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Results-oriented and adaptable with a strategic mentality
