We are currently seeking an EAP Work-Life Specialist to work remotely. This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday-Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm EST.
Position Summary:
The Work Life Specialist is responsible for serving as the primary case manager for Work/Life clients including, but not limited to, resources for elder care, child care, household services, convenience services, travel services, wellness information, discount information, and medical needs. This position’s primary focus will be in elder care resources.
What You’ll Do:
- Requires proficiency with computer applications, well-versed in navigating online resources, have strong telephonic, written and email communication skills, exhibit excellent common sense and good judgment.
- Comfort working in a team environment, flexibility changing day-to-day job assignments and efficiency in case management.
- Ability to screen for safety issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, and other high-risk situations and connects clients immediately to on-call counselors as needed.
- Completes Work Life Intakes using EAP database system.
- Provides general information and referrals to subject matter experts in areas such as legal concerns, financial issues, and Work Life challenges
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the confidentiality of client information and needs
- Remain actively logged into the telephone queues as assigned in order to fulfill duties
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in fields such as social work, mass communications, psychology, education, business, hospitality or related field
- Experience with elder care required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Customer Service
