A highly successful Real Estate organization that is focused on the acquisition, development and management of commercial properties is looking for a Vice President of Accounting and Finance to join their entrepreneurial and highly collaborative team.
The Vice President of Accounting and Finance is a very hands-on role with both tactical and strategic responsibilities.
Over 25 years the company has developed an outstanding culture and work environment. This position is a hybrid role, working remotely on Fridays.
Salary Range: $175K-$225K + 20% Bonus
Vice President of Accounting and Finance Responsibilities:
- Management of the Accounting department (3 direct reports)
- Supervise and review the month end close and financial statements
- Investor and lender reporting
- Develop project level financial forecasts as well as long term corporate budgets
- Work directly with lenders, investors & financial institutions to secure financing for acquisitions and developments
- Oversee the Accounting & compliance for the closing of all transactions
- Manage 1031 exchange process
- Tax compliance and strategy
- Oversee legal documentation for ownership structuring
- Treasury and cash management
- Distributions
- Special projects
Vice President of Accounting and Finance Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- CPA or MBA
- Strong Commercial Real Estate industry experience
- 12+ years of progressive Accounting & Finance experience
- Solid grasp of tax regulations and financial structures in regard to Commercial Real Estate
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A entrepreneurial and strategic mindset
