Volunteer And Impact Coordinator Vista (Asheville, Nc)

Member Duties : The VISTA Volunteer and Impact Coordinator will do a variety of rewarding, engaging, and capacity-building activities to alleviate poverty in western North Carolina. The VISTA will develop and implement efficient procedures for the agency's food pantry and diaper ministry, including volunteer communication and coordination and the maximization of our facilities. The VISTA will enhance the agency's refugee resettlement, case management, and burial assistance programs through the development of systems and organizational capacity-building efforts to improve each service recipient's experience. The VISTA will build outreach capacity and awareness through community engagement to help attract more volunteers and donors to the organization to increase sustainability. The VISTA will research and organize local resources and partner agencies to ensure proper staff referrals to service recipients.
