**Volunteer Youth Cheer Coach** **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to serve as a Volunteer Youth Cheer Coach. This position involves working with enthusiastic young cheerleaders aged 5-12, fostering a positive and supportive environment while imparting cheerleading skills and values. **Responsibilities:** 1. Plan and conduct engaging cheerleading practices for youth participants. 2. Instruct cheerleading techniques, routines, and choreography suitable for varying skill levels. 3. Focus on building teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among participants. 4. Attend and oversee scheduled cheer events, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved. 5. Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to enhance individual and team performance. 6. Collaborate with other coaches, volunteers, and parents to create a unified and positive program. 7. Maintain open communication with parents, addressing concerns and providing updates on team progress. **Requirements:** 1. Previous experience coaching youth cheerleading, with a strong understanding of age-appropriate skill development. 2. Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in cheerleading instruction. 3. Ability to create and implement fun, inclusive, and skill-building activities. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with children and parents. 5.
