Position Overview:
This is a temporary assignment with an estimated duration of 4 months. The Visual Merchandise Coordinator is the backbone of the Marketing Operations department and reports directly to the Marketing Operations Director. The primary responsibility is to keep the department informed of key project milestones and support the department by owning the budget, and project management. This person will support the VP of Visual Experience to manage all visual events and visual merchandising projects.
Responsibilities:
Visual Project Management
- Manage Visual Production and produce materials
- Support VP of Visual Experience to manage all projects.
- Proactively calendarize and track all major visual projects. This includes the spending for each of those projects.
- Ensure project tracker is updated
- Lead efforts to communicate project overviews and executions cross-functionally
- Ensure teams have everything they need for a visual floor set
- Create directives for window display setups
- Share tracking, files needed to support stores
Seasonal Visual Merchandising
- Oversee timeline - design, prototype, and production
- Partner and liaison to vendors
- Create distributions for each season for each store
- Own and Manage budget. Finding budget solutions and raising awareness on any risk.
- Add all creative needs into Basecamp, manage timelines with creative partners
- Hand off all artwork and creative to vendor - samples and finals
Brand & Regional Marketing
- Project Manage visual event production projects from regional marketing and brand
- Overseeing end-to-end visual event ownership of activations to ensure they are up to the KS brand standards
- Ensuring regional marketing and brand have all visual experience elements needed to host their events. Additionally managing the delivery and installation of these elements
- Owning and leading visual communications for events and activations
- Oversee operational aspect of all visual event needs - needs in Basecamp, passing off artwork, timelines with vendors
Finance & Accounting/AP
- All Coupa invoicing for anything visually related and occasionally brand/regional marketing
- Monthly brief with accounting to go over assets in progress
- Manage yearly budget
- Monthly meeting with finance to review state of the budget and future budget
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator Adobe programs to create visual directives
- Proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point
- At least 5 years of experience in store corporate operations; or in store or corporate visual merchandising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing budgets
- Proven ability to drive operational aspects of visual merchandising, Visual Production, and project management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi task and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with cross functional teams
