DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify information on inventory counts for all materials needed according to schedule.
- Operate elevators from pre-batch to kitchen platform for the distribution of material.
- Assemble/operate food pump, slurry machine, Stephen mixer, cheese chipper and shredder.
- Operate scale and verify accurate weights.
- Verify materials and quantities being used (-10º freezer, 40º cooler, spice room, and warehouse).
- Verify 95% yields and P.C.
- Operate load cells, Genies System, water meter, oil meter, air mixer, agitator, cooker, and cherry barrel.
- Operate within compliance of USDA and TQA program standards.
- Ensure that recipe book cooking procedures are being followed.
- Maintain work area clean and always organized.
- Work under a team concept.
- Use a rod height.
- Read and understand the concept of the production schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have basic Math skills and able to pass a math exam with a score of 75%.
- Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack to move materials.
- Must be able to read schedules, recipe pages, and resource numbers.
- Able to pull schedules and report on cold-food, spice production, and cheese blends.
- Must be able to calculate recipes, cycle count, and operate scales.
- Good attendance record.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Able to perform under extreme temperatures.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
