The Department of Computer Science at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time, one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Computer Science beginning in August 2024. This is a non-tenure track appointment, annually renewable for up to three years, contingent upon performance, budget, and continued need. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate education who will also enhance the scholarly and creative opportunities provided by our Computer Science program. The area of specialization is open, but a Ph.D. in Computer Science is required and must be completed prior to the start date. The teaching load is 5 classes over two semesters.
Applicants should have the potential and desire to commit to highly effective, inclusive teaching at all levels of the undergraduate Computer Science curriculum.
