Visiting Assistant Professor In The Department Of Chemistry And Biochemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (Department) at Washington and Lee University (W&L) seeks to hire a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor to teach both the lecture and lab part of the Organic Chemistry sequence. The one-year position starts July 1st, 2024 and requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry (ABD Ph.D. candidates will be considered). Previous teaching experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a 6.0 course load and may have access to institutional resources to engage students with undergraduate research.

A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely-related field is preferred. ABD Ph.D. candidates will also be considered. Teaching experience is highly desirable.
