Clearview’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) practice is looking to hire a full-time Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO). This new hire will report to the Director of IT Operations.

What will this new hire do?
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated vCIO to join our growing MSP practice. The vCIO should be energetic, driven, and ready to proactively advise clients in the areas of strategic planning, risk management and business process improvement. Specific responsibilities entail:
- Develop and implement strategic IT plans that align with the client’s business goals and objectives.
- Video meetings with C-level executives and decision-makers to recommend technological improvements that align with organizational initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships.
- Strategic Technology Roadmap, Budget Planning and Educating clients on technology trends and opportunities.
- Understand clients’ strategic goals and objectives and establish a long-term IT strategy and plan that aligns with their business focus.
- Manage client accounts, beginning with the initial onboarding phase as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
- Work with business executives to identify workflow and operational challenges and recommend solutions that create greater efficiencies.
- Foster business relationships with an emphasis on impacting clients’ missions.
- Retain clients by delivering customer satisfaction.
What is required for consideration?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role
- Must have at least 1 year of MSP industry experience
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security
- Proven track record of providing technology solutions and recommendations that align with business objectives.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of technical concepts and industry trends.
- Experience consulting for small and medium-sized organizations.
- Strong organizational skills are required with the ability to manage projects from multiple departments and the ability to set customer expectations.
- Experience in security compliance or other technology-based compliance areas.
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor, VCIO, client consultant.
