Job Summary
cLABS is looking for a talented & passionate Video Editor/videographer who will join our friendly video & animation team. This is a position for someone who is thriving to deliver high-quality content and who is a team-player and who can handle multi-tasks in a timely manner and in a fast-paced work environment. This position will report to our Project Leader or the President and will work independently or as part of a team to create images and sound which accurately represent their clients, recording raw video and audio and turning it into finished product and much more.
Responsibilities

• Creating captivating video and photographic content for various platforms
• Planning, filming and editing content, while maintaining an organized footage filing system
• Organizing shoots while working and pre-planning with the team
• Organize and execute any video content requested by the client (not limited to promotions, social media, presentations and educational footage)
• Use Adobe Premiere and/or other industry-standard software to design and edit videos/animations that are consistent with the brand, values, and mission.
• Collaborate with the creative team, other relevant departments and clients in all types of projects
• Bring creative ideas and a candid perspective to projects of varying sizes and designs
• Film and/or photograph in the DCC Entity locations, the field and/or onsite with clients
• Constantly improve and be open to new ideas based on creative video/film trends
• Creative collaboration with cross-functional teams from briefing to file delivery
• Ensure on-time execution of projects and delivery of high-quality output
• Perform other duties needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in animation, videography, photography, art, visual communications & marketing or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant video editing and motion graphics experience
• Fully knowledgeable and fluent in the use of Adobe CC: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, knowledge in animation software, and other industry-standard software
• Skilled in color correction and color grading
• Competency and reasoning for video production and editing equipment
• Portfolio showcasing strong visual thinking/display
• Sound understanding of video content, photography, and typography
• Ability to evaluate and direct motion graphics projects
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to speak effectively before executives and peers, as well as project a professional appearance
• Utilization of ai programs is a plus

• Demonstrable ability to handle multiple projects but adhere to deadlines
• A desire to work in an exciting and demanding environment
• Adapts to the requirements of a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• High organizational skills to drive and deliver on multiple assignments at one time
• Ability to be lead creative on smaller projects with little to no supervision
