Hometown Media is a new, innovative, and growing production company based in South Jersey that specializes in creating media content for a variety of fields including medical, educational, tourism and for live television. This includs recruitment videos, TV ads, and specialty segments. We also provide drone services and do documentary and narrative work within the R3D ecosystem.

We are looking to hire a fast-working and experienced Video Editor with a creative side who can jump right into the business and help turn footage into a story.

Responsibilities

You should have the ability to:

• Take raw footage and cut it into usable clips, add LUTs, color correct, audio sync
• Tell a concise story in every video you make
• Edit reels for social media use
• Assist with other content creation, including filming, lighting, rigging and producing

Qualifications

• At least 2 years professional video editing experience
• Knowledge of key frame animation and titling
• Ability to apply a LUT, color correction, and audio sync
• Works fast and confidently under tight deadlines

Pluses, but not requirements to the job

• Grip / Lighting experience
• Production and cinematography experience
• Work within the R3D ecosystem
• Experience as First AC
• Experience in sales, advertising or marketing
