Vice President – Sales

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
As the Vice President- Sales, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to meet and exceed Sales targets. You will support the company’s Sales capability to ensure its both proactive and responsive to the needs of our customers, as well as overseeing new business development and delivery of effective solutions to new customers. This role forms part of the Leadership team and contributes to the overall strategic and operational success of the Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop business plans and sales strategy to exceed set targets and revenue growth.
- Manage sales processes, ensure the team are always following it process and it is educated to them.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue/sales reports.
- Provide monthly and quarterly results assessments and review of Sales staff’s productivity.
- Work effectively with cross functional teams to produce sales presentations.
- Manage all Sales policies, practices and procedures.
- Educate Sales team by establishing regular product & sales training, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use, and level of Sales support.
- Conduct regular one-on-one review with all Sales Executives to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for improvement to sales and activity performance.
- Ensure that all Sales Executives meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
- Continually work on improving, updating, and adding value to sales materials.
- Manage salesforce and provide monthly sales reports and insights as requested by CCO.
- Liaise with Legal on contractual negotiations to assist Sales team.
- In conjunction with the CCO coordinate yearly Sales targets & commission plans.
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Identify potential events for Sales to attend (12 mth plan) to generate leads.
- Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy to increase market share.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- Analyze and control expenditure of team to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Meet with key clients, assisting sales executives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Meeting Sales & Profit targets.
- Revenue growth within existing clients.
- Ensuring companies legal requirements are adhered to.
- Responsiveness and quality of all communication, reports and material generated.
- Team processes / structure is reviewed and updated when necessary.
- Sales data is accurate, updated and correctly interpreted.
- Client satisfaction levels are successfully met.
- All contractual obligations are met or communicated, discussed and managed with the relevant people
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIRMENTS
- Leadership experience of 5+ years.
- Proven ability to drive sales teams to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Previous Call Centre/Offshoring experience.
- High level of communication & interpersonal skills.
- Overseas and interstate travel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
