Job Overview

The shopper’s journey to purchase is a rapidly changing experience as the shopping environment evolves with new retail platforms and opportunities to grow, all of which require a seamless experience and voice to meet that shopper’s needs.  In order to meet this changing landscape, KDP has created a hybrid team of talent that integrates the eCommerce skills needed to succeed online with engaging shopper conversion marketing leading the strategic communication approach and in-store activation as one Omnichannel structure with which to speak to retail and the shopper. 

 

As the Vice President, Omni Marketing you will lead the team responsible for developing and executing integrated eCommerce and in-store marketing solutions across the priority brands within the Keurig Dr Pepper portfolio. You will lead the end-to-end strategic approach, supporting the national retail sales (NRS) growth targets leveraging all path-to-purchase conversion drivers (digital and in-store) for joint business success.  Along with the growth of in-store pickup models and online sales, brick and mortar activation remains a crucial point in the path-to-purchase journey so you will lead the development of attention-grabbing retail marketing events, merchandising that is inclusive of point-of-sale materials (e.g., shelf-talkers, shippers, display) and innovative ideas, collaborating with your key accounts to intercept and impact buying behaviors.

 

To achieve your objectives, you must utilize strategic thinking to create joint business plans, influence internal stakeholders, and solve increasingly complex customer challenges with regards to the evolving shopper landscape.  You will be able to utilize your knowledge of search, media, ecommerce, grocery pickup models and in-store shopper influence points to drive a cohesive and seamless shopping experience for shoppers. This is hands-on, high collaboration required for this integrated role so you will also work closely with other functions (e.g., Brand, Digital Shelf, Media, Shopper Insights, Agency partner) as well as our retail partners to bring compelling guidance around maximizing traffic, conversion and growth across KDP’s categories.  

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the internal and external face of Keurig Dr Pepper’s (KDP) Omni Marketing and Ops team
  • Lead a team of cross-skilled digital and in-store marketing members to accelerate forward-thinking and competitive advantage with our accounts
  • Lead strategic Omnichannel vision and breakthrough thinking alongside the retailer on how to drive combined goals, growth and shopper conversion
  • Direct the budget investment and achieve the growth AOP goals alongside KDP account teams
  • Utilize strong communication with all stakeholders regarding customer, channel and industry insights and competitive trends and demonstrate strong, strategic negotiation skills
  • Be a leader in media, consumer and industry trends that will affect how consumers engage online and in-store including sampling, POS, and breakthrough creative
  • Proactively share best practices with peers and lead the broader commercial team’s thinking on ecommerce, retail media, and best-in-class tent pole programming
  • Partner with category management, sales, marketing, supply chain and RTM ecommerce operations team to influence our strategies (e.g., online assortment opportunities, digital shelf and marketing, site merchandising)
  • Understand and leverage shopper insights and data science in order to grow our eCommerce leadership from an insight-led, analytical basis of how to impact shopper behaviors
  • Operate as a crucial member of the KDP customer-facing leadership teams for your applicable accounts, pulling Omni thinking through annual planning, investment allocation and growth targets
  • Full support of major retailers including Grocery, Mass, eCommerce (Amazon, Instacart), Small Format (Drug, Dollar) and select others for opportunity development by leading the team’s planning and executing tentpole programming at retail
  • Bring Omni passionate approach to test & learning, upskilling the omni team, high-collaboration with leadership peers and retail marketing/media partners

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior omni marketing roles, preferably within the beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute integrated marketing plans that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
