LOCATION: Atlanta, GA, onsite daily
MUST live locally to the Atlanta area.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary goal of the operations’ leader role is to implement, communicate and support the strategies driven by the President. The focus is on daily operations, partnering with the President and other business leaders to manage larger, overarching company strategy and the long-term challenges that might impact that vision. While maintaining a focus on day-to-day business operations, the leader should be a change agent to spearhead and lead specific initiatives, including supporting large-scale organizational shifts. The leader manages and handles the daily business operations of the company, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activity of employees. The leader must have excellent leadership skills, business acumen and ability to effectively manage, lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team.The leader must be focused on effective communication and project management.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the daily operations of multiple business units and operations directly partnering with business leaders, VPs and Directors
- Work collaboratively with the President to assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and long-term strategy.
- Develops systems to provide critical operational information to the president and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations, including implementation oversight.
- Collaborates with the leadership team to develop business unit specific Strategic Plans. This includes accountability around goals, initiatives, timelines, and outcomes.
- Maintains and directs the daily operations of the business.
- Ensures alignment with current company policies and goals, including those that the leaders create themselves, as well as those developed by the President and other executives.
- Conduct a holistic assessment of the organization’s infrastructure.
- Develop and implement policies for daily operations and communicate these policy changes to department supervisors while ensuring follow-through and accountability.
- Provide analytics & insights - through systems, tools, processes and business understanding, deliver proactive and actionable analytics & insights in support of planning and execution.
- Participate as a key thought leader, influencing decision-making, identifying priorities, and managing (both directly and indirectly) staff in multiple locations.
- Prepare presentations in support of president, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings and various strategic committees of the company; when appropriate lead the meeting agendas.
- Take ownership of performance management for the business including identifying and reporting KPIs which are linked to company strategy and drive positive actions.
- Executive leader of strategic projects to improve operations and capabilities.
Education / Training Requirements
- Advanced degree/MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations’ leadership
- Real Estate industry experience preferred.
- Understanding of operations’ impact on financial results.
- Solid understanding of data analysis and use of metrics.
- Ability to diagnose operational issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates mainly in the corporate office with remote ability on occasion.
TRAVEL
Minimum travel to other corporate offices and property locations.
