Vice President Of Construction Services

d.e. Foxx & Associates, has an excellent, challenging career opportunity for a Vice President of Construction Services of our Construction, Development & Facilities Mangement brand. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operations of our self-perform sub-contracting group, focused on general contracting and carpentry. As Operations Leader you have accountability for ongoing safety, quality, on-time delivery, and profitability. Client retention & growth and team development are also pivotal components of the position.

Foxx Construction has operated over 30 years in the Greater Cincinnati Region and has contributed to significant projects. The Vice President of Construction Services is a self-starter, results-orientated, critical thinker, who can take a well-established business to the next phase.

A background in managing self-perform general construction contracting services is preferred, however, candidates with operational experience, ability to develop other leaders, and proven record of meeting performance and financial objectives are encouraged to apply.

What will you do?

The job requires identifying and closing small and large construction opportunities that maintain existing sales and generate new contacts.

The VP Construction Services role seeks to develop new business opportunities and interacts with construction firms and contractors. As a Construction Firm Leader, the role must be aware of the technology and processes involved in both medium and large initiatives.

Operations – Maintain a culture of safety that drives safe behaviors. Lead a team of Ops Managers to ensure the scope of work is clearly defined and delivered on-time, within budget and of high quality.

Client Relations – As Executive Account Manager, you will develop and maintain client, industry and, community partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Your strategic relationship will directly translate to client retention and new business acquisition.

Business Growth - Grow the business organically through exceeding existing client expectations and support Business Development activities through relationships and projecting and seeking out new industry business opportunities, new markets and development.

Technology – Supports new technologies to increase the efficiency of operations and conducts SWOT analysis to best position the organization for success.

Leadership - Coach & develop the management team and provide inspirational & visionary leadership to all and drive a culture that respects and values the contributions of everyone.

Your background.

Proven experience in the construction industry, coupled with foundational understanding from educational experience. Experience in industry that is results-oriented will be considered. Professional certifications are a plus.

Able to think strategically and conceptual, evident by experience of approaching problems with new and innovative solutions, as well as tactical and analytical; proven by the ability to drive a project to completion.

The ability to manage the business to achieve EBITA targets and ensure client requested change orders are processed timely.
