 We are currently hiring for: Vice President

 The Vice President will hold key responsibilities such as identifying opportunities for growth, interfacing with sales management to gain additional sales/procurement business through expanded product offerings and finding new customer segments for future business. The Vice President is also expected to take a lead role in developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers/brokers which are key to success of the business.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality meat products while optimizing costs and supplier relationships.
  • Lead sales efforts to expand market presence, drive revenue growth, and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the meat industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement, sales, transportation, and logistics strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and industry dynamics to inform decision making and identify areas for innovation and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, food safety standards, and industry best practices across all aspects of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sales within the food industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth, improve operational efficiency, and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Deep understanding of meat procurement and sales processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
  • Experience managing cross functional teams and driving organizational change initiatives.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, and CRM systems.
  • Passion for the meat industry and commitment to delivering quality products and superior customer service.
  • Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
