Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) fulfills a pivotal role in shaping and executing the human capital strategy for WagWay and its brands. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the executive leadership team, the VP of HR leads HR initiatives that drive organizational performance, talent management, and cultural alignment across the WagWay brands. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, extensive HR expertise, and the ability to collaborate with executives and managers to drive organizational success.


Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the company's growth and organizational development.
  • Align and integrate team member engagement, retention, risk mitigation and talent development strategies to the business.
  • Builds relationships with assigned business unit leadership and identifies opportunities to contribute to success of assigned groups.
  • Directs effective communication program with executives, managers, and team members to ensure understanding of Human resource programs, policies and plans.
  • Provides counsel, advice and guidance to senior and local management involved with sensitive performance and employee relations issues; directs, administers and supports managers with employee relations problems/issues.
  • Guides and executes the appropriate organization design to support the business strategy.
  • Resolves disputes and complaints by conducting investigations and produces written reports detailing findings and next steps or actions.
  • Develops and executes diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Proposes, tracks, reviews and analyzes relevant human capital metrics. Analyzes key human resource trends at each location and enterprise-wide for turnover, hiring, and promotions.
  • Plans, communicates, and integrates employees of newly acquired companies through orientation meetings, supervisory training and change management.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR leader, preferably in a senior management role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence organizational culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. Education, Work Experience Requirements and/or Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of ten years of Human resource management experience preferred.
  • A Minimum of five years experience in a director level or above role is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
