The Vice-President of Operations will provide day-to-day leadership and management for assigned division while upholding the mission and core values of the company. Responsibilities may include:
- P and L management responsibility.
- Direct strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the division.
- Closely monitor the operating and financial results against plans and budgets.
- Drive division to achieve and surpass profitability, and business goals and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strategic operating plans that reflect the long-term objectives and priorities of the company, including business planning and analysis, budgeting and risk management, processes and procedures.
- Lead sales effort and increase market share.
- Develop and/or hire the management team to create and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the division and organization. Provide timely, accurate and complete business reports.
- Measure the effectiveness of internal and external operational processes.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the division.
- Ensure that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and other employees.
- Professionally represent the organization in its relationships with customers, business partners, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, professional associations, and similar groups.
- Develops, tracks and reports key performance measurements for their business unit.
- Maintain proficiency with company systems in accordance with company procedures and policies.
- Coordinate divisional support needs with human resources, accounting and support services departments.
- Serve as a brand ambassador with clients, industry and related professional associations and groups.
- Lead and manage company risk management efforts.
- Review contracts in conjunction with risk management.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability
- May serve as primary customer service representative for larger clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Must have at least ten (10) years of experience in commercial facilities management.
