Veterinary Receptionist

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Duties: - Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries - Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system - Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures - Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Provide support to other team members as needed Skills: - Strong knowledge of animal care and husbandry practices - Experience in handling animals safely and confidently - Proficient in medical record collection and management - Ability to provide basic pet care advice to clients - Familiarity with veterinary critical care procedures - Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor If you are passionate about providing excellent care to animals and their owners, we invite you to apply for this rewarding position. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
