Veterinary Receptionist

Edinger Surgical Options is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist (Client Services Specialist) for the following hours: Tuesday - Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm, Friday 6:45am-4:00pm. This is a 4-day workweek of approximately 38 hours/week.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Welcomes clients and their pets in a friendly manner
• Answers phone calls, emails, and direct requests from clients
• Schedules and coordinates appointments
• Processes payments and financial transactions
• Maintains digital medical records and processes client paperwork
• Keeps a clean and organized reception area

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Adept at prioritizing tasks and delegating when appropriate
• Knowledge of ezyVet or other scheduling software is a plus

About Us:

Edinger Surgical Options is a small animal (dogs and cats) orthopedic surgery practice on the west side of Madison. We are staffed with board-certified surgeons and a team dedicated to helping pets overcome their injuries. We have 24-hour RECOVERY STAY™ available for our in-hospital post-operative patients and work closely with veterinary rehabilitation experts. Our goal is to always provide the highest level of care to both patients and their people from the first phone call through the final appointment.
