Job Summary
The Humane Indiana Clinic is a non-profit, high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinic. Humane Indiana Clinic offers services to residents of East Chicago, Gary, and Hammond, IN, clients who receive government assistance, and owners of Pitbull and Pitbull Mix.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Oversee the check-in and check-out process for vaccine appointments in conjunction with the Clinic Director
· Provide in-person and telephone client services; answer questions
· Maintain the appointment schedule for optimal clinic efficiency
· Ensure exceptional customer service and client education
· Create rabies certificates
· Ensure proper paperwork and instructions go home with each client
· Maintain written and electronic records for all patients
· Make confirmation calls for scheduled appointments
· Assist with special events and projects
· Actively promote spay and neuter
· Represent the Humane Indiana Clinic in a positive and professional manner at all times
· Other duties as assigned
· Perform end-of-day reports, make deposits, and perform end-of-day duties
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Experience with Cornerstone preferred
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience recommended
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work efficiently, and maintain positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer use, including traditional office software packages
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
