```Duties```
- Assist veterinarians in providing care to animals in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery, including cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor animals before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis
- Take and develop radiographs (x-rays)
- Provide assistance with dental cleanings and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in an animal clinic is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Proficiency in dog handling techniques
- Knowledge of pet grooming practices is beneficial but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
