Sage Veterinary Imaging is seeking an Experienced Veterinary assistant to join our Amazing
team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, a motivated team player, works well under
pressure, and who is committed to client service and exceptional patient care. Must be available
Saturdays. Our goal is to find answers for pets and their loved ones. Specific duties and
responsibilities of a Veterinary Assistant include:
Qualifications
- Exhibits a professional image and approach.
- Consistent and reliable, with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
- Strong communication abilities, with adept problem-solving and organizational abilities,
- Emotional intelligence and desire to work collaboratively as part of a high-performance team.
- Interest in the nuances of advanced diagnostic imaging and patient care during procedures, and recovery.
- A minimum of 3 years in Specialty Veterinary medicine is preferred.
Responsibilities :
● Admitting and discharging patients.
● prepare a patient and the machine for an ultrasound procedure.
● Assist Doctors and Technicians in Procedures.
● Assist other team members when needed.
● Can compassionately and effectively restrain pets.
● Maintains a positive attitude.
● Obtaining vitals on patients.
● Entering charges for patients.
● Perform laboratory procedures.
● Understands the importance of a clean and orderly facility, does not hesitate toclean or organize as part of a normal job duty.
