U.S. Data Security (“USDS”) is a standalone department of TikTok in the U.S. This new security-first division was created to bring heightened focus and governance to our data protection policies and content assurance protocols to keep U.S. users safe. Our focus is on providing oversight and protection of the TikTok platform and user data in the U.S., so millions of Americans can continue turning to TikTok to learn something new, earn a living, express themselves creatively, or be entertained. About the Team
Our TikTok Search Operation team plays a key role in improving TikTok users’ search experience by investigating user feedback, evaluating search results, analyzing data, etc.
Responsibilities - What You'll do
1. In-depth understanding and mining of users' needs in the search direction through user research, competitive product analysis and other methods;
2. Optimization iterations such as search intent recognition, word segmentation, recall and sorting to improve search conversion and traffic revenue;
3. Collect, analyze and locate problems, formulate improvement plans and priorities, and follow up and measure improvement effects;
4. Cooperate with product and technical parties to promote the continuous improvement of search quality and user experience.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above;
2. 2 years+ Search product domain experience required
3. Experience with data analysis, identifying trends and reporting out on findings
Even Better If You Have
- Familiarity with SEO business, understanding recommended products or experience in product data analysis is preferred
- Experience in data labeling, user feedback, content moderation or similar operation jobs

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $65866 - $146666 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
