Job Summary
We are hiring immediately for a District Operations Manager to oversee facilities, food warehouses, an equipment shop, and associated personnel across two key branch locations. This position is based in our Fremont, CA location, but will also work out of our San Leandro, CA location as needed. Please note hours may vary and some overtime is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimizes operational productivity of two branch locations, two food warehouses, and one equipment shop and ensure performance meets objectives and expectations.
- Interprets and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote consistent application and adherence.
- Build, implement, and track all safety-related initiatives.
- Identify and facilitate warehouse, shop, and safety training efforts.
- Responsible for creating and organizing shop and warehouse operations and procedures.
- Manage team of direct reports consisting of warehouse and shop/field technician managers, and oversee their management of their teams.
- Fully own facilities at both branch locations, acting as single point of contact for landlords, and liaising with all related vendors and service providers.
- Position will occasionally interact with clients, along with internal and external stakeholders; professionalism and courtesy is required.
- Operationally support teams who manage client accounts and client facing staff.
- Oversee strategic analysis for assigned business units, including auditing and reporting.
- Fully own implementation of recommended changes when they arise, either from internal analysis or from corporate direction.
- Coordinate and/or own needed changes to products and equipment.
- General system reporting, record-keeping, and auditing as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with company and legal standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic, excellent communication, and a positive attitude are most important requirements!
- Senior management experience required.
- Food and warehouse experience required.
- Equipment shop experience preferred.
- Facilities experience preferred.
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite required, namely Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Three years of experience in a similar position preferred.

The position salary starts at $87,500 annually dependent upon experience, and is eligible for a bonus up to 10%.
