The Sr. Marketing Manager, Strategy and Operations will have responsibility for leading the commercial excellence strategy execution, project management of globally led commercial initiatives and advancing ways of working to accelerate strategy execution and cross-functional/regional engagement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic and high-energy environment, able to strategically lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver key infrastructure and process deliverables for product launch. This newly created role will report to the Sr Dir Commercial Excellence OTTAVA Surgical Robotics.
Key responsibilities:
- Tie together business strategy with technology strategy and processes to accelerate strategy execution
- Refine and ensure effective execution of the commercial excellence strategy globally
- Define governance for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams to align execution plans with business objectives
- Lead development of ERP strategy and associated business case
- Develops global sales order management and CRM strategy in partnership with commercial operations
- Collaborate with regional leaders to support regional infrastructure and processes readiness for OTTAVA commercial launch, and execution of go-to-market in country
- Drive a culture of executional excellence, partnering across regions and functions to ensure flawless product launch
- Anticipating the needs and proactively bringing together appropriate people and resources to support the prioritization and decision-making processes around work to be done
- Find opportunities for operational improvement and develop recommendations to implement
- Provide guidance and support to teams involved in launch activities, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant progressive business and marketing experience
- Experience with product launches
- Excellent interpersonal skills & executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence decision making at all levels and organizational "savvy"
- Able to positively impact productivity and business results
- Proven ability to act as a change agent and adapt to rapidly changing organizational and business issues
- Project and/or Portfolio management experience
- Strategic thinking ability to drive business results with demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated business acumen skills, preferably gained through multi-sector and global experiences
- Ability to understand and navigate the complexities of operating in a matrix global framework
- Capability to execute flawlessly in high stress/fast paced environment.
- Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and learning agility are key for this role.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Strong communications skills, verbal and written and through different types of technology and media are
- Experience with Project/Portfolio Management systems and tools
- Product Launch experience within MedTech
- This role can be based out of Santa Clara, CA. or Cincinnati, OH. and may require up to 30% travel (international and domestic)
- The anticipated base pay range for this role is $ 118,000 to $234,140
