We are currently searching for an Assistant Night Operations Manager to join the Distribution Center team based out of Santa Fe Springs.

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Night Operations Manager is responsible for the safe and economic receiving and shipping of all products during the evening shifts. You will oversee accurate distribution of products to the stores and inspect each department regularly to ensure proper procedures, safety policies and programs are being used correctly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with employees, buyers, warehouse, and transportation managers on a daily basis to ensure that job objectives are achieved including Quality control, receiving practices, proper rotation of the Produce/Meat/Deli, and identifying potential safety hazards
- Regularly conduct scheduled sanitation inspections.
- There will be up to 20 direct reports to this position involved in the selection, palletizing, loading and the receiving of the majority of the produce and deli items shipped from the distribution center
- Ensures that all paperwork has been completed correctly daily/weekly and monthly
- Responsible for the maintenance and sanitation of the Distribution Center during the evening shift
- Assures that proper selection of product is done in a productive manner and orders are shipped timely with a minimum number of mis-picks and errors.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in a warehouse setting
- Retail or supermarket experience preferred
- Excellent work habits, dependability, and the ability to work well with others
- Warehouse management experience
- Experience with WMS system
- Forklift operations
- Ability to react as situations demand by assessing hours needed and adjusting the workforce accordingly
- Ability to seek out, analyze and evaluate facts, and provide a solution to issues
- Ability to work on own initiative when minimum supervision is provided

Pay range: $76,500 - $77,250
