Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a VDI Engineer SME to provideoverall direction and technical guidance on developing and growing the virtualdesktop environment. This position will be located in Washington D.C and will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

+ Leads the support, administration, design, implementation, and troubleshooting of OS, applications, and hosting in EPA's VDI and Citrix environments.

+ Provides overall direction and technical guidance for team members on developing and growing infant virtualdesktop environment.

+ Ensures effective coordination with the EISD and Deskside Support Team for Tier 3 support for EPA-approved end-user applications in the VDI environment.

+ Ensures the effective development of VDI images and automated SW and OS deployments in the VDI environment.

+ Coordinates with Tier 4 vendors as needed.

+ Coordinates with local stakeholders to customize activities at the local level.

Qualifications

+ High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)

+ Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $108,310.00 - USD $173,290.00 /Yr.
