Vacation Rental Cleaning Manager

Oceans Maintenance Group is the sister company of Oceans Luxury Realty, a leading force in the real estate and property management industry in East Volusia County. As the fastest growing rental agency in the area, we have a need to add to our existing team a Cleaning Department Manager. We are looking for a personable, efficient, and self-motivated applicant to manage our growing team of cleaners and keep up with our high expectations of delivering quality properties to our clients. The ideal candidate must have experience at least 5 years of management experience in the hospitality industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations of the cleaning department and team
• Develop and train team members to ensure their performance meets our high standards
• Coordinate the weekly cleaning and inspection schedule
• Coordinate the billing of all cleaning services offered
• Manage existing cleaners to ensure productivity
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and available
• Inspect properties during and after each cleaning
• Work closely with property managers to ensure all cleanings are completed to the company's standard
• Foster a team environment and positive company culture
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Adhere to company policies and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Speak and write fluent English
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must have reliable transportation that can be used during working hours
• Must have management experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in the cleaning field
• Must demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to provide constructive coaching, while keeping the team motivated and engaged
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work well with co-workers and clients
• Basic computer experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as the ability to learn new software programs
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• The ability to thrive in high pressure situations and multitask
• Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude that is ready to hit the ground running

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
